Revelry of Drunken Angels

by Max Bouillet

Haunted hollow souls
grapple and grope
shoving themselves into one another
with seductive fingers
and lusty tongues.

Flesh and spirit
rip and splinter
as they throw themselves
violently in the mix…

… they become
shredded and spent
dumb from the act
listless and alone

until the pieces coalesce
into twisted butterflies
licking themselves
into oblivion.
