See it reflected

by Gabrielle L Gervais

I wish you could have seen it
The red rock- the stained mountain glass.
Whish you could have felt the wind
Energy of the earth
Suspend you in air.
I wish you had the chance to feel this place.
To let it soak into you
Fill the holes in you.
I wish you could have seen their eyes.
The wonder in the shining reflection-
Consumption of beauty.
I wish the energy could find you and
heal your broken walking stick.

But the energy, the beauty, the strength
Is there
In your quiet humility.
The Colorado river is already reflected in you.
And your smile- your sweetness
Is painted on the mountains
You have this earth in you
This energy, this beauty, this strength
In you.
The sacred brilliance of your eyes
tell me so.

Another very touching and vividly expressed bit of natural wonder.
