make some room by Gabrielle L GervaisSpace.
where you stretch your arms and spin
and throw your voice into the clouds.
Space.
where your big laughter isnt cut short
by interstates
and too-smart sundial digital demands.
Space.
where the spirits reality is huge
and peoples places shrink.
the body sealed in tossed grasses.
Space.
where you can cover the stars with outstretched fingers
but you cant black them out.
Space.
where the sun follows the warmth
and tangibility is simple.
Space- we laugh at its concept.
Space- oh how we rush away from it.
