what i will never know

by Jessica Yen

mystic green eyes of envy
gaze at the clasped limbs
that hold each intimately
in a safety and security--
that i will never know.

my beating heart stops
when i realize that no one
will ever comfort it in the
special way that lovers
lean against each other.

i question if ever in
my lonely cold life
a warm arm will coil
around my heart.

and still i continue
to ponder whether
one will ever
love me.

if you always write with this kind of heart and passion, love for you will be assured....trust me

Tremendous conveyance of emotion... nicely crafted.

I especially liked the imagery in this line: a warm arm will coil around my heart.
