what i will never know by Jessica Yenmystic green eyes of envy
gaze at the clasped limbs
that hold each intimately
in a safety and security--
that i will never know.
my beating heart stops
when i realize that no one
will ever comfort it in the
special way that lovers
lean against each other.
i question if ever in
my lonely cold life
a warm arm will coil
around my heart.
and still i continue
to ponder whether
one will ever
love me. 06/01/2003 Posted on 06/02/2003 Copyright © 2026 Jessica Yen

a warm arm will coil
around my heart.
