Waves bring sand
Back and forth
Brining life
To the busy beach
Laughter of the children
Running form the white water
Is sweet music
Innocence shines brighter
Than the sun
Majestic pelicans brown and white
High in the sky
Soaring
Hoping for fish
As I drink ice tea
Peppered with
Bland taste of sand
I sit and watch
Never wanting it to end
