A LittleToo Far Gone by Charles J HannanDriving toward lights
Not really seeing
Curves become strait lines
Unfolding like memories
Tires desperately trying
To
Hold
The
Road
Why
Don't I just let go
Free my......self
Painful torment
I put my wipers on
For rain/tears
Soaked in misery
Searching for something
Fueled by
A love I can never have
Teenageless
Time forgot
Father forgive me
Wherever you are
For not becoming
Responsible
For this retreat
For letting go
And falling

Posted by Quentin S Clingerman on 05/25/03 at 08:06 PM Tragic consequences of misplaced love. All too often seen in our culture today. You write sparingly and forcefully. |
