Loss for Words by Matt ForgetAnother day, another time, another hour
Passing through the shadows
Where light will never reach
Holding tight the hourglass
Each speck of sand that falls
One less you have to worry
Burning your feet on the ocean shores
Breathe the air of silence
As it races towards you
Directions unsurpassed
Although irresistibly unexplainable
The youth for which devours
The thought of elder ness
Retreats itself to emptiness
Due to lack of insufficient funds
Pace back the act of power
Which holds you lace and bow
To whom you long and then will live without
Eternity as is our universe
The stars speak louder on a clearer night
Telling stories of ancient times
Where other days, other times, other hours
Bringing them closer to the nearest beginning. 05/22/2003 Posted on 05/22/2003 Copyright © 2025 Matt Forget
