Moma Bear

by Melina Raven Maness Diebold

Moma bear

nuzzles her little one

the one grace has given her this year

her crown

her light

Blessed in the melting snows

Moma bear

works so hard for her little one

the one the river beckons for

bright-eyed

brown-furred

her terry-cloth soft baby
