::inside adventures::

by Bethany Lee

the foliage is tinted

in sunshadows

on the forest floor

//

i wish i knew who you were now,

so i could look up your new name

to call and chat and know you're there.

///

does the clover-eating rabbit

have anything else to say?

i seem to have trouble coming

up with my own words today...

///

poetry has nothing to do with education...

a writer is not born

within the confines of a classroom...

inside adventure:

if the revolving world went my way,

it would rain cherryblossoms everyday...

every word spoken would be a slice of poetry,

every child would be accompanied by a teacher of wisdom.

all first impressions would derive from the Soul,

noone would be misunderstood...

snow would mantain its beauty without the harshbite;

roses would have no thorns...

everyone could fly.
