Sonnet - One Shot I by William TeoOne was dancing under the sky so blue
One was dancing among the field so green
Alas, why is it that one's lifelong pursuit
Never will, never to be, one's it seems
One was asking why do the river flows
One was asking why do the mountain sleeps
Alas, why do the actor's mask be brought low
When one was held frozen in tears, one weeps
One was thinking of the words unspoken
One was thinking of the sky and the field
Alas, one's heart was taken, and one's mask broken
So one asked, "What does an empty heart feels?"
The sky so blue and the field so green, not
Empty mind shall be one's repose, one shot.
*Bang*
Silence
