Time

by Amy Niggel

Seconds pass themselves
in fun bundles of 60,
Minutes run together
in packs of 60 as well
Hours move on
in schools of 24
Days count themselves out
in accessible groups of seven,
and all I can do is wonder
why can't time slow itself?
what if I want those seconds to wait for 70 to arrive
before they decide to move on together?
Time is a careless parent
it doesn't care what comany its prodigy keep
so long as they keep the right number
I thought it was quality not quantity.
so they run around
finding the right numbers
and then running of into eternity.
I wish just one second would wait
for the right seconds to get there
before it ran away.
Who cares how long it takes,
should even a second get the chance to find the right one?

Time is of no consequence, except when it's your Birthday. I do hope yours is Happy! Peace...

Well, Time is synonym of life, in a sense. And its capable of stretching like a rubber if one can live from moment to moment in continuity. Try and get into the space of time.
