my goodbye song

by Indigo Tempesta

This is a goodbye song
In case when you see me I cannot speak,
In case it happens I cannot weep:
This is my goodbye song.

This is my passion play--
To prove I loved more deeply than death,
To prove I stormed with a tempest's breath--
I give my passion play.

In silence now sit I
Amidst the clamorous crowd,
'Tween buildings tall and far too loud
In silence now I sigh.

Against my passing stoically away
I bring my twilight tears to day;
I sing you now, my fierce, my strong,
My pain, my life, my goodbye song.
