the masks we wear
covering our quiet faces
hiding from reality
obscuring true beauty
do not be afraid
open your eyes
clear your mind
embrace loving thoughts
we are closer to remembrance
so don't shed a tear
cast off false impressions
be one, unique, yourself
for the masks we wear
are truly wearing us.
