Complain

by Christel Crews

I shouldn't hate my life
there's nothing to complain of
I have bills to pay
and no job on the way
Honestly, life isn't that rough

I have friends who don't call
or ever check in, with places to be
they can't find the time...
Oh, I should be more kind
they are just too busy for me

And then there's my family
who loves me, I know, yet I wonder
if I'll ever be enough
or accomplish enough
to cease their critical thunder

I shouldn't hate my life
there's nothing to complain of
with nothing to live for
and no one to be a bore
Honestly, life isn't that tough

Author's Note: sometimes you just need to complain, even if its nothing to everyone else and your life seems pretty good from a bystander's perspective, it can still be murky below the surface

Needs to talk out those negative emotions. Writing is the best course and you did that in such a paradoxical way. Basically, the process of life and death walks hand in hand. We just need some positive impressions/vibrations/associations to turn this process of death into a process of life.

Hi Christel, good one. Yes, we all have our days or moments, we just have to do it. They'll get over it sooner or later. If not so be it. Yeah, just got to vent now and then. I also agree some what Ashok and Kinmberly says to. Don't be so hard n yourself too.
