Beautiful Things

by Scott Cadence

I understand

the fine lines

when I am a quiet study

under your skin

when my hands

Burning Molten

Sculpts upon you

Like a Master

That eventually rises

a Degree

Like a voice to distort

The pin point precision of desire

And spread the mind blow

Crawling across

Jumping into

your particles like a cure

And when I'm not with you

My eyes fall for seconds,

simply to see you -

I recall

the willingness your body invites

to surviving

the tread within your veins

as we tandem Jump from the land marks

of this self important world

and rise from the fires

a new breed

that doesn’t fear

to remain In-complete

as long as we remember

the beautiful things

Wow, one of the most beautiful poems I've read in a while...I really enjoyed this one!
