Wild at Heart

by Stephanie Kent

Stifled warriors
Knights at heart
Looking for a crusade
In long-decayed castles
Carrying rusted weapons
Years past their prime

There may be no more dragons to slay,
But there are still damsels in distress
Waiting for you to conquer our hearts

Wonderful analogy for the aging! The heart grows old much slower than the body! Dreams remain when the means to fulfill them may be very worn or lacking! But where there is life there is hope. Where there is loneliness there is the possiblility of companionship. Wonderfully bittersweet.
