peel away
the outside layers.
she swears there's something
good enough beneath all this
waste. but they never stick
around
long enough, do they and you're
left on your own throwing up
new reasons to love again, to
become again what you had
always planned to be.

Yes, we normally live our yesterdays again and again unless we meet an accident powerful enough to change the course. Or the life situations provides us a 'shock' capable enough to change us from within so much that the meaning of meaning will change.
