Somewhat Less Than Nothing

by Jersey D Gibson

Don't look at me that way,
I can't stand that look in your eye.
Don't walk out on me,
I can't stand to hear you say goodbye.

From the beginning,
everything seemed so perfect and true.
Now it's the ending,
how can it be we're through?

Now that your gone,
it seems so difficult to deal with this strife.
Now that I'm alone,
I got to continue with my life.

Am I somewhat less than nothing to you, baby?
(I don't want to see you go!)
Am I somewhat not worth you fighting for, baby?
(I never want you to let go!)
Am I somewhat not what you wanted me to be, baby?
(I never want you to be sad!)
Am I somewhat not trying hard enough for you, baby?
(I never wanted it to go bad!)
