to a Boy

by Beth K Hannah

Pocket full of eternity
Angelic discord
Interrupting 3
4
And back again
Ceasing to begin where
My heartbeat stops
Even in the hell of life
You are still beautiful
If beauty
Could only return his
Application
Maybe my lack thereof
Would change
And those endless hours
Siren wails
Immeasurable gauges
Would all point to, "Yes."
