Alone at the Lake

by Jacki M Butler

Many a night do I set and listen

To tales of woe from friends

Those fighting with a loved one

Another torn up dream

And I sit here and think to myself

I would much rather be arguing with a lover

Than sitting here alone on this wall.

Hmmm well expressed contrast of being alone or disagreeing with ones loved one. The choice you make clear is a no-brainer! :)
