I haven't yet washed my hair...

by Daniel Peterson

in this time zone,
the last time was after
the first time we made love,
since last time I washed it
recalls the time that
you rose in time and fell
forever, that time I felt
it for the one time, it means
there isn’t any time to
breathe out the time or
remember your time used up
or mine, in due time, dear,
it will be spent time well
forgotten, too, time in
the sense of a time line
that recounts time when
there was no time to
remember a time when
you, and a time when
I, were in time, when once,
we were time.

I know this is random, but I like the physical pattern the worn "time" makes in the structure of this
