Your Dreams

by Jennifer L Banks

The honesty,
that lies in dreams
may not always be
what you think it seems.

I can tell you, without a doubt
That many are soulless
Searching forever,
and seem to tout.....

Some grand wishes
and an evil scheme
washing away truth,
devouring your dream.

But if you hold on,
To what you hold dear
I sincerely believe
You have nothing to fear.

So remember this,
as I tell you no lies,
as the wind whispers softly
and I've heard your cries.

yeah, oftentimes we dream of so many "grand" things that we forget what we really aspire for. a nice reminder to hold on to what we really hold dear. =)
