by Daniel Petersoneffervescence is brought to life
and breathes
in a hint of your smile
pinkish sunrays laugh
and dance
as they fall from your grace
I gather these thoughts
and perceive
when I close my eyes
the golden, flowing waves
and lashes
that frame your face
in these transitory moments
and times
when I'm forced to think
of a love I would quietly give
and promises
I would tenderly keep
