Demons

by Lisa-Dawn Sparling

everytime I think I have won,
your back again,
stronger than the first time.
fueled by my anger,
fed from my denial,
waiting until I am weak,
before you surface.

Shadows stirring inside of me,
wrestling with my conscience,
Thriving off of my confusion,
bathing in my tears,
One day I will starve you,
one day when I am stronger,
one day when I bask in love.

The conflict is so well pronounced. Yes, when one is charged with positive and beautiful impressions thats the right time to get into the BATTLE with a predetermined decision as to who would be the WINNER. Obviously the INTENDED SELF.
