In a word I can find
all your heart and soul
it's there layed out
just for me to understand
I feel your heart beat
through the words written
a communique for me
and me alone to translate
your code is breathlessness
your cypher is love
I find you there hidden
in between the lines
I rush to every post
and message from your soul
your pure essence is there
in letters, in words
it's magic for me to
picture your face
while reading the lines
you have scribed for
my own eyes
I write back trying
to express back to you
the feelings we share
when we read souls
in words and letters
You caught me here
I'm waiting for the next
message from your heart
to tell me I'm the one
to tell me it's me
that is in your mind
pervading your soul
soaking deep into
the skin of your being
and dwelling there
all day and all night
when you dream
do you dream of me?
do my words reach deep
into you so that they
saturate every fibre
of your being?
I can only write
and hope
and dream
of your words
at night
