Because you are nothing I wanted and everything I want by Amy NiggelI always wanted
six foot tall,
blonde hair,
blue eyes
and built.
Or I wanted
black as night,
dark skinned,
dark eyed,
nubian god.
I always wanted someone
who wouldn't treat me like a lady
who wouldn't do things because I wanted them to
I wanted
a bad one
someone who would be bad for me.
I never knew why
just what I always wanted.
Then someone cued your entrance
and the plot suddenly changed.
you were not 'my type' physically
nothing at all what I had dreamed of in my musings.
and yet you were the most attractive man I had ever seen in the entirety of my life to date.
and when we talked,
you made me smile,
you made me laugh,
you treated me like a lady,
and did things because you thought I'd like you to.
you were a good guy
one of the few I'd met
and you wound up being so good for me.
You broke every rule
every defense I'd ever set up,
all with a smile
and a quiet voice
and those eyes.
and somewhere along the lines
I fell in love with you
and I don't want to let go
not yet
beacuas you are nothing I wanted and everything I want 04/21/2003 Author's Note: :) *sigh* ain't love grand? :)

Posted by Mo Couts on 06/05/11 at 03:26 AM Yes, it is! My fiance is nothing like what my physical type is, either, but somehow, some way, we mesh together perfectly and it works =) |
