Such was her empty frown

by Jolie Jordan

I shall place you in my pocket,
only to burn you with my kiss.
a touch so vividly potent,
could replace your fears with bliss.

I wont forget the night you wept,
your face resembling cherubic existence.
broken wings and then some,
you attempted to fly with persistence.

And so my arms inclosed you,
twas such comfort from the stardust falling down.
and you smiled up at me with those eyes,
cracking my empty frown.
