your smiles embrace

by Izzy Koranda

you would hold me to your chest and play with my hair,
and i'd sleep the day away
i got lost in the feel of you.
you would bite my lip and i would taste your tongue.
id gaze into your eyes and vanish in their beauty.
you would tell me jokes and make me smile.
id see you smile and just melt away.
but now i no longer have your embrace,
your taste,
or your smiles...
all i have now are the tears inside
from when i was told i was liked,
but was always too close.
the tears from her pain...
that i made to be with you.
but still... when you joke...
i get lost in your smiles embrace.

Author's Note: to have thrown love away for what could have been is a horrible thing. if you think it hurts a 15 year old.. just wait.. you have no idea
