A Marriage Proposal

by Becca Morton

I walk downstairs to room 129
With a smile glued onto my face
He opens the door and I walk in
Everything looks in place
What if there is something wrong
Im not really sure what it could be
He grabs his bag and we walk out the door
He turns around and smiles at me

We get into a taxi
And ride to the park
We sit under a giant oak tree
I start to breathe heavy
He slowly bends down to one knee
He looks up and Smiles
I now know nothings wrong
I finlly understand and see
He quotes the words that Ive been waiting for
"Darling, will you marry me?"
