Beginning of the end; The

and life has changed both of us more than we know...
We were as tight as could be in the summer night
and we never really had any reason to fight
But as they say, things can change in an instant
and make things and people seem so distant.
You can smell the sweetness of disdain
Hidden along with our misery and pain.
You could feel the pressure in the air
as we slowly came to no longer care
You could see it in our eyes as we stared off
Trying to hide all the sad laughter with a cough
