Off the road somewhere Im running from myself
but I cant seem to lose this memory of you.
I close my eyes and there you are
There, your face is in that passing car.
The smell of you still in my nose
and where this trails taking me, who knows..
Ive been wandering around out here for weeks
and it hasnt stopped the trails down my cheeks.
I thought it was all just pain and misery
but this wild beast of burden, I just cant set free
