All the blame on you

by Aaron Howard

I saw you walk away in my dreams before you even walked into my life…
I saw you switch the plans at the last moment and what you did what that knife…
I didn’t see anyone on the horizon when I looked over the prairie
but then again, you don’t expect life to really be that scary…
Snow rolls through on an April fools morning
as if to tell of some distant warning…
To let me know that mother nature is in on the joke too
so when it comes down to it, the blame can’t all be on you.

like the funny twist at the end of this rather sad story! Great read!
