So Perfect?

by Becca Morton

On a very perfect evening
Of a very perfect day
A very perfect girl
Went and drove away

This very perfect girl
Was not so perfect after all
She was very drunk off of alcohol

In her car she drove
But she swirved and hit a tree
And the night that seemed so perfect
turned out to be deadly

This not so perfect girl
Didn't make it through the night
So learn from this story
and Don't drink and drive.

Author's Note: I wrote this a couple years ago for a school assignment(im guessing on the date) - and I thought I would put it up here - because even though the poem is lame - it has a good message
