carbon by Kalikala SmithI've pondered,
and stretched
the idea out for size,
that we've all become
carbon copies of
one another.
We've all become so
vulgar, rude and
inconsiderate,
that we don't notice
it anymore,
anywhere.
We just go along with
the killing and
the suffering,
like it was no big deal,
at all, to
anyone.
I've considered this
and rearranged it
and came to a
conclusion.
It's not that we've
lost our identities.
We just don't care anymore. 04/12/2003 Posted on 04/12/2003 Copyright © 2024 Kalikala Smith
