Whisper in the Wind

by Thomas K. Hunt

I see life in the reflection
Of a store front window pane
I always think of you
When I travel down this lane

In a memory of my memories
I can see your smiling face
It pulls me from the sorrows
That have found me in this place

I wonder if you think of me
Do you keep me in a memory?
I could always make you smile
I'd steal your sorrows for a while

Every soul that is a being
Finds some sadness along the way
It's a all part of life
That we face from day to day

When you find a need to smile
Just whisper my name
No matter the miles

I'll hear your whisper in the wind
And you'll be smiling with me again
