So tired of wasting time
trying to be the one

listening
smiling
behaving
loving
laughing

Don't get me wrong
it wasn't acting

I'm a terrible actress and you know it

All my life I said I wouldn't
change to please someone
And yet here I am, questioning...

And I just want to scream at you
but I can't
And I want to burn your eyes for looking away

I can look away too, you know
