Mama's Goosey Blues

Mama's Goosey Blues (2003-03-24,
9/24/03

Get along doggie
On down the road
Throw down that pack
It's a heavy load

Ride the wind
Long and hard
Joker left
A calling card

Rub~a~dub~dub
It's sweet 'n fillin
Man in the tub
Is anything but chillin

Yee~haw, Marjory saw
But she ain't tell'n
Ole Mother Hubbard
Was just a yellin

Weren't cupboards
That was bare
Can't ya tell
Look at the hare

Smiling there
All tall and lean
Compared to him
Cheshire cat looks mean

Oh Baby, Old Lady,
Wearing lived in shoes
Sweet Boy done sung
Her some Blues

Howling Cat,
Jumping the moon
While playing
Fiddling tunes

Mom got goosed
Reaching for a dime
Ever since
She's spoke in rhyme

Don't blame me
I just write it down
To read to Humpty
When he comes around
