Dancing In The Moonlight by Kate Demeree
I hear your gentle breathing deep into the night Behind a velvet curtain, tangled with starlight Close my eyes, to view you there behind the door Hiding in the moonlight flitting across the floor Dancing in the moon beam at the bottom of my bed Smiling coyly each time I turn my head Every time I view you, each step you take Sweet silver water, gathers in the lake Slowly coming closer to nibble on an ear Trailing soft wet kisses you take away the tear Tasting of the honey as it sits within the comb Smelling of the laurel, the fresh and fertile loam Asking for surrender, giving sweet release Bringing outer turmoil while granting inner peace I hear your gentle laughter echo in the night Drawing back the curtain, welcoming the light
