I realize how swiftly time moves
slipping and sliding
like so much water over the falls
moving ever forward
moving always away from us.
I realize what time will bring
and that you will be
far away
and heavily involved
and things will change,
because things always do.
But I want you to know
it doesn't matter,
none of it does
it doesn't matter where you go
or what you are involved in
or how things change
I will always be
right there for you
if you need me
all you need to do is reach out for me
I will come if you call
You are my friend
no matter where things end up in life
you always will be
and I will always love you
and there will always be a place for you
in my mind
in my heart
in my life
should you need it
should you want it
Where ever you may go
I will be there with you

as a thought
as a memory.
Time may be moving ever swiftly away from us

Distance may separate
but it will never keep us apart.

you need not go alone

Author's Note: Ummm yeah so uhh yeah I know a whole lot of people who are having issues dealing with long distance relationships and a whole lot of people graduating and moving on to different parts of life and I just I don't want my friends to ever forget how much I love and care about them, even if I don't get to see them every day.
