i dont think you get it, but thats ok. there are many others who share a mindset thats been conditioned to be satisfied by going along with a pack mentality.

Sometimes the simplest idea is missed by many. Sometimes it's worshipped by the majority. Wholly panned or wholly praised. But it is always the simplest answers, the least complex reasons, that are nearer the truth. Kudos on POD. You say a lot by saying a little and have struck a chord, I see.

I think it's fantastic... and apparentely, 63% of the country would agree (you know, that silly "pack")... subject matter aside, I think it would form up better if you centered it. grats on potd :)

aren't comments meant to critique the writing itself, not what we might perceive to be the view of the author?....starving SUV's, quite an original image. simple, evocative, and timely. congrats on POTD.

i actually agree with you, jack. :)) in my view, "the writing itself" applies to form AND content. i was referring to critique of the author, not the content of his work....we should not assume to know the author's mind, just as we should not assume that poems here are all autobiographical....i prefer to critique the poem. perhaps a good subject for the forums or PM ;) PK
