Ever stopped and listened?
Listen to yourself once in a while,
what do you hear?

Do you hear a lier, a hypocrite, a cheat?
Do you hear a kind, gentle, loving person?

What do you hear?

I hear your hollow words, your empty promises.
I hear your shallow opinions, your lost observances.
I hear you,
being someone else;

anyone else
other than
you.
