She was literally born a little angel
In the land of the golden sunshine
Everyone lovingly greeted her
This precious little granddaughter of mine
Her life will be of wonderment
For love, she will never lack
She will rise far above all others
With pride and will always look back
Our hearts are filled with joy
Since this little one came to be
A beautiful baby girl
For all the world to see
In years to come when she can
She'll climb up on my lap
I'll hold her close with loving arms
I'll rock her to her nap
When she awakes in her content
I'll thank the lord for this heaven he sent
For there can be no better time
Then with this precious little granddaughter of mine
