i love how you love me when
you don't know it, when
you're not looking
trying to clean yourself of
all impure thoughts, calling
me at odd times just so you
can act nonchalant as though
anything i say has no importance
to you, as though you have only
chosen to call me because you've
nothing better to do. i love how
you love me and you just can't
let me know maybe because you think
i'd say, "yeah, well i told you so"
and you love how i love you when i
pretend not to care about the phonecalls,
your nonchalance, the way you can
just stand there grinning and acting
as if you really don't care that i am
grinning, shaking my head at you
just standing there.
