America's Red Flower

by Jersey D Gibson

America's red flower,
the most deadliest bloom.
Spreads it's pollen everywhere,
it's seeds, everlasting.

See it growing everywhere,
sought out by all.
Many strive to have it,
in their hometown gardens.

Plant it in the ground,
watch it grow and spread.
It can proliferate anywhere,
America's lethal red flower.

This one is one of your better poems. Very symbolic and metaphorical. Could be edited a little, word choice and puncutation wise, but the last line is really good.
