all the hands that hold me down by Olivia Weinkeini will never be free of hands
that once touched me. eyes that
once danced upon me, knowing.
-saying, "i know everything about
you and i will touch you like this
anyway, maybe even just because
i know, i know
everything about you."
and
i will never be free because of that.
those hands. all of those hands that
knew even when i didn't. couldn't
possibly know what it all would mean
eventually
to someone like me
when i finally came to my senses and
knew who i wanted to be and also,
when i began to realize that some hands
should never be layed upon me, eyes
should never see the softest parts
of me
and
me.
but in this particular area it is far
too late to turn back and from all those
hands
i will never be free.
