Disappear with the sky

by Sam Roberts

Oh scenic sky
Let me ride with you again
Let me sit upon your vapours, and scatter like the clouds

Oh scenic sky
Soak me down with your rain
So I can travel through the hills and be washed away
So I get back up and start again
So I can scramble up and over the sun,
slide down the rainbow
And disappear at the other end.

Oh scenic sky
When dusk is near
We both can stay
And disappear

Where nobody will know
Where nobody can see
Approaching near twilight

We will be

Forever the night!

You

and me.
