Experience (adult)

by Derek Gregory

Awkward movement.

Empty smiles

I look up,

listening to the music,

trying to not look in her eyes.

Not sure what to do or say as

I sneak a glimpse of the outline of her body.

Months absent of female touch.

Her smell fresh,

body young and taunt.

Her flowered dress falls to the floor,

soft hands find my face,

force me to look into her simple eyes.

Instructions given as to

what is acceptable

what isn’t.

She dances slowly touching herself.

touching me.

A moan leaves her sensual lips as

my hands find her hips.

Moving slowly and deliberately

our moans rise.

I slowly drift

back

to my past.

The simple quite of the moment

Her fake moans easily forgotten

Even in the loud music

Yes, experiences are always registered based on our past experiences. Well said.
