Fault in Adoration by Jared WinklerA wind blew... your mood
Gone. Pulled a rabbit
from a hat. Pulled
a card. By the look
on your face, I annoy
you seem upset.
Why? Don't cry.
Puzzeled by the change,
It brings me pain.
Sparce Acknowledgment
They exist... why don't
I am presently an in-
convenience store...
pretty convenient
reminds me
when I'm found out
I disappear.
That's my fear... But Now
You're back... I'm still gone?
Where'd you go?
Nothing to say to me.
Fine.
I'll deal. till
tomorrow. on your
face, it was wrong
you were gone.
Now I know why
time told
its telling tale
And I'm sorry
don't worry
we've all got
something to hide. 03/22/2003 Author's Note: My mind raced. I tried to make sense of my ideas. They created the worst poem I have ever written... but that is quite reflective of how I felt in that situation.

Posted by Ashok Sharda on 03/25/03 at 03:57 PM Well, you have succeeded in expressing what you intended to but this is too prosaic. The lines seems to be jumping from nowhere to nowhere. I would suggest a redraft. |
