and wearing underwear on your head
unless you have marshmellows
shut up and get on with your story
about the Trinity Test
and how the atomic age was born

Tell us about the event
that was the beginning of destruction
the loss of blessed sanity
a great and terrible holocaust
one which killed 100,000 people
in a little under two minutes

ironically our great nation
did this horrid deed
to spare so many human lives
it gives new meaning to
"The fat man walks alone."
