My Song

by Megan Langley

Every morning when I wake up,
I stare into my coffee cup
And I wonder within my mind,
Will this be the day that I find
My love, my love, my love...
My love, my love, my love...

As I take one step outside,
I want to run and hide.
I look across the street and see
The man that is the one for me.
My love, my love, my love...
My love, my love, my love...

Now we've become so close
Like a stroke of the wind when it blows.
Just one touch and he'll be mine.
Please say this love will be an endless line.
Oh, an endless line.

But then I happen to ponder this
While longing for his sweet kiss.
If I stay, will he go?
And deny me the chance to know
My love, my love, my love...
My love, my love, my love...

Now we've become so close
Like a stroke of the wind when it blows.
Just one touch and he'll be mine.
Please say this love will be an endless line.
Oh, an endless line.
Oh, an endless line.

Author's Note: This is actually a song (lyrics) but I don't know how to write music to go with it...I can only hear it in my head. It sounds better with the rhythm I created for it...except for when I sing it, of course :-)
